In February 2012 the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija hosted very significant and large event. Subsidiary company of one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in a world “SANOFI”, from Russia held their yearly "“National meeting of Sales departments” in Riga, Latvia. The company first time selected Riga as a destination for the event and all delegates arrived with specially arranged charter train from Moscow. During a week hotel served 740 guests daily having meetings and workshops in 60 meeting rooms. Even the hotel’s Meeting & Event centre is one the biggest in the Baltic region it was a challenge to arrange 60 meeting rooms instead of 15 existing ones but with Yes I can! attitude issue was solved and hotel rooms were converted to meeting rooms to guarantee guest satisfaction. It's worth to mention that 16 990 meals and around 11 000 mineral water bottles in total were served in a 5 days!
